The Sound to Sleep™ System has three main components:
The Sound to Sleep™ Resonators
The Sound to Sleep™ Resonators are state-of-the-art acoustic resonators that are embedded in the Autism Sleeps Foundation (or, if you have a platform bed, in the Autism Sleeps Mattress) and transmit gentle sound waves through the sleep surface. Unlike traditional speakers, the Sound to Sleep™ Resonators are specifically designed to maximize your ability to Feel the Music™.
Sound to Sleep™ Controller
The Sound to Sleep™ Controller is the proprietary amplifier that works with the Sound to Sleep™ Resonators embedded within the Autism Sleeps Foundation or Mattress. It has been specially designed to work with almost any musical source (CD player, iPad, iPod, MP3 player) and to deliver the deep, resonating tones and harmonies that are so beneficial to a soothing experience. The Sound to Sleep™ Controller allows you to independently adjust the level of volume and tactile sensation to create a personalized auditory and sensory experience tailored to your unique sound and feel preferences. You can further customize the experience by selecting the listening method that works best for you, be it earbuds, headphones, or speakers.
Sound to Sleep™ Ohm
The Sound to Sleep™ Ohm is a soothing musical selection that delivers simple harmonic resonance. All you need to do is download the Sound to Sleep™ Ohm to the musical source of your choice, plug the musical source into your Sound to Sleep™ Controller, and lay back and relax. You can listen to the music through earbuds, headphones, or speakers, or chose to simply feel it. You can also listen to any of the other music in your library. However, we suggest that after dinnertime you play the Sound to Sleep™ Ohm to relax and prepare to sleep.
Since the Sound to Sleep™ System uses magnets in the Sound to Sleep™ Resonators, people with pacemakers or any other implanted magnetically-sensitive medical device should never use or lay on the Sound to Sleep™ System.
